During our family stay at Motel 6 in Moriarty, NM, we found it to be a decent choice for a budget-friendly option with a few unexpected perks. The pet policy was a huge relief for us as we were traveling with our two furry feline friends on our cross-country journey. The laminate floors and the pet guidelines made it stress-free to accommodate our pets comfortably. Despite its modest offerings, the motel's proximity to La Madera Ski Area, just 25 miles away, caught our attention. While we didn't have the chance to indulge in winter sports due to our brief stay, the idea of a potential family ski getaway in the future excited us. Since we were a group of ten, including young children, finding an economical solution was essential. Motel 6 met our basic needs with updated bedding, a modern room aesthetic, and friendly staff. The convenient location and the accommodating pet policy made our unexpected stop enjoyable. The stay was satisfactory, and we appreciated the functional aspects the hotel offered for a family-friendly stay.
